Are apartments at The Edge on Washington furnished?
Yes! All apartments come fully furnished with everything you need to move in comfortably, including living room furniture, a TV, and bedroom essentials like a bed, desk, and dresser, so you can focus on school, not setup.
What lease terms are available?
The Edge on Washington offers 12-month leases designed to align with the academic year and provide a consistent, stress-free living experience.
How does roommate matching work?
Our roommate matching process pairs you with other Tarleton State students based on lifestyle preferences like sleep schedule, cleanliness, and social habits. Already have a roommate in mind? Just list them on your roommate matching form and we’ll place you together.
Is WiFi included?
Yes, high-speed internet is included, making it easy to attend online classes, study, stream, and stay connected without worrying about additional setup or costs.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! The Edge is a pet-friendly community. Pets must be approved by management, and applicable fees and monthly pet rent may apply.
Can I use FAFSA or financial aid to pay my rent?
Yes. Because Edge on Washington is an off-campus community, we do not receive financial aid payments directly. Financial aid is first applied to your university account, and any remaining funds are refunded to you. You can use those funds toward rent, but rent is due on the 1st of each month, so it’s important to plan ahead in case your refund hasn’t arrived yet.
